SAGEBRUSH HIGH GYM— A year after Maya Roadrunner’s twenty-footer kept the Route 190 Cup in Caliche, the Sagebrush Badgers hosted the rematch with revenge scheduled for tip-off. Transfer sharp-shooter Luis Gecko (no typo—family pride) poured in thirty points, including four triples and one theatrical shrug that the student section has now filed for landmark status.

Caliche’s Otter twins battled on the glass like they were born on scaffolding, but Sagebrush’s hedge defense—coordinated by Coach Cougar, who paces like a metronome with a whistle—limited Maya to contested jumpers and one memorable chase-down block. Final: Sagebrush 68, Caliche 63.
