Ag-Science Aggies Win Fall Badger Bowl Rematch; Bo Burro Brings Better Coolers
MESQUITE JC QUAD— Six months after the Education Majors edged the Ag-Science Aggies 34–33 in double overtime, the campus intramural Badger Bowl returned for fall with upgraded coolers, a living camera squirrel, and the same group-text review protocol that once decided a championship.
Ag-Science quarterback Bo Burro—true to his spring promise—brought ice worthy of a county fair and a fourth-quarter drive that ended with a touchdown pass to wideout Cass Coyote. Education cornerback Nina Nightjar answered with two picks and one impromptu vocabulary lesson on sportsmanship, but the Aggies held on 41–38.
A controversial half-pull on third down forced referee Ms. Magpie to consult the rule PDF under a borrowed shade tent. The call stood; Nina shook Bo’s hand at midfield without being asked. Rec department Director Gopher scheduled ice baths and peer-reviewed stretching for both rosters.
Trophies remain plastic; emotions remain tax-deductible school spirit. Spring rematch already has a waiting list.
