Jolene Jackrabbit Makes Rodeo Announcer Debut; Butterscotch Applauds from the Rail

CLOVERLEAF JUNCTION— Jolene Jackrabbit, best known for leading 4-H calf Butterscotch through county fair sawdust like royalty on a budget, made her rodeo announcing debut Saturday with a voice clear enough to carry over diesel generators and delighted children. “Ladies, gentlemen, and anybody who forgot their hat—welcome home,” she opened, and the grandstand settled instantly.
